New Palm Springs to Vegas travel option launches

Electric car transport company Tesloop announced Friday the company is expanding it’s routes from the Palm Springs market.

In addition to offering service between Los Angeles and San Diego, Tesloop added a Las Vegas route this week.

The trip between many hotels and casinos in Las Vegas and Palm Springs includes a 25 minute recharging stop in Yermo, and costs as little as $79, according to a news release. Wifi, healthy snacks, pillows, device charging, noise-canceling headphones and beverages are included during the ride in a Tesla Model X, with between four to eight potential stops for passenger pickups and drop offs..

“We couldn’t be more excited to connect Las Vegas and Palm Springs through Tesloop”, commented Haydn Sonnad, Tesloop founder. “The current travel options between these wonderful cities is limited, and are often inconvenient and expensive. Starting today we are intent on making the Las Vegas / Palm Springs commute convenient, affordable, sustainable and just generally amazing. This route was originally tested last year, and by popular demand, we are bringing it back. Combined with our own passenger management platform and a high level of customer service, we feel the communities in Las Vegas and Palm Springs are ready for an inspiring next-generation transportation option that is all electric and zero emissions.”

Nonstop flights from Palm Springs to Las Vegas routinely cost $300 or more.
