Local “March For Our Lives” starts Saturday morning in Palm Springs
A national rally against gun violence will get underway in Washington D.C. Saturday morning.
“March for Our Lives” is expected to draw people from all over the country, including school shooting survivors from Parkland, Florida.
The local rally will start at the Palm Springs High School football field at 10 am.
According to the City of Palm Springs, marchers will be walking east on Baristo to Civic Dr then head North on Civic Dr to Tahquitz Canyon. The marchers will then head east on Tahquitz Canyon to El Cielo then North on El Cielo to Fire Station #2 where they will continue on to Southbound Civic Dr, with a stop a City Hall for 15 -20 minutes. The marchers will continue south on Civic back to Baristo Rd, West of Baristo Rd, back to the PSHS.
Expect heavy traffic in the areas that fall in the marchers’ route.
