PSPD urges public to avoid Gene Autry Trail & Via Escuela due to power outage

Palm Springs Police Department is urging the public to avoid the area of Gene Autry Trail and Via Escuela in Palm Springs. PSPD has issued the warning due to a power outage in the area.

According to Southern California Edison’s incident page, the outage is currently affected 87 customers. The outage is due to “Upgrading Equipment.” The estimated restoration time for the area is 3:30 p.m.

Traffic is severely backed up at the intersection.
