TKB Bakery & Deli celebrating #1 spot on Yelp

‘TKB Bakery and Deli’ in Indio was named the #1 top place in the United States by Yelp back in February. To celebrate, the bakery is hosting a block party this Saturday from 3 pm to 7 pm.

The locally-owned shop has been in Yelp’s top five best restaurants the past three years. This year, they finally broke through and snagged the top spot.

TKB’s owners said they never really celebrated their yelp success so they wanted to do something big.

“We’re going to have an awesome celebration of having the number one spot. We’re inviting everyone that’s ever been a customer all these years the whole community to come out for bbq drinks live music games everything,” said Melina Sippel, co-owner of TKB.

TKB’s owners credit their success to being consistent, welcoming, and making fresh and original sandwiches.
