Joslyn Center offering program to help “master aging”

The Joslyn Wellness Center in Palm Desert will be offering the “Aging Mastery Program,” a 10-session session health and wellness program named the “Aging Mastery Program” to resident 55 and over.

AMP was developed by developed by the National Council on Aging. The Joslyn Center will be one of five organizations in Southern California selected to offer AMP, the only one to offer the program in the valley.

The program is designed to provide the tools for living a longer, healthier life and make lasting changes. The Joslyn Center will begin the first session on May 21, with the other sessions happening twice weekly.

Each session features an expert in sleep, healthy relationships, exercise, financial fitness, medication management, diet and nutrition, and more. Many older adults experience depression or anxiety in many of these areas.
