For the first time in 7 days, Riverside County gas prices fail to rise
A seven-day streak of increases that pushed the average price of a gallon of self-serve regular gasoline in Riverside County to its highest amount since Aug. 22, 2015, ended today when it was unchanged, remaining at $3.667.
The average price rose 5.7 cents during the streak, including four-tenths of a cent on Monday, according to figures from the AAA and Oil Price Information Service.
The average price is 4.6 cents more than one week ago, 14 cents higher than one month ago and 71.3 cents greater than one year ago. It has risen 59.4 cents since the start of the year.
