Two men stabbed at AM/PM in Palm Springs, PSPD searching for suspect.
Two men were stabbed at the AM/PM at the intersection of Vista Chino & Sunrise Way in Palm Springs just before noon, according to the Palm Springs Police Department.
The stabbing occurred after a confrontation between a store employee and a customer. An argument followed, which was taken outside of the store, where a second customer became involved.
The first customer then stabbed the employee and the second customer and fled the scene on foot.
The suspect was described as a male wearing black clothing and a baseball cap. The victims were transported to an area hospital, the severity of their injuries is unknown at
The store has since reopened and the crime scene tape has been removed.
Some people who frequent the popular gas station are now questioning its safety.
“I want to feel safe where I stay. I pump gas here, I have kids. It’s troubling that the world seems to get a more and more difficult every day,” said John Worthy, a local resident.
Others are calling it a rarity.
“I think it was probably just a freak occurrence, and you know I’m just not that concerned about,” said another local resident.
