Average Riverside gas price rises for 15th time in 17 days
The average price of a gallon of self-serve regular gasoline in Riverside County rose today for the 15th time in 17 days, increasing a half-cent to $3.696, its highest amount since Aug. 20, 2015.
The average price has increased 8.6 cents over the past 17 days, including seven-tenths of a cent on Wednesday, according to figures from the AAA and Oil Price Information Service.
The average price is 2.2 cents more than one week ago, 13.5 cents higher than one month ago and 69.6 cents greater than one year ago It has risen 62.3 cents since the start of the year.
