Coachella Valley is full for Memorial Day weekend
Memorial Day Weekend was off to a busy start in the Coachella Valley. Palm Springs was packed with people visiting for the holiday weekend.
A full patio at Lulu California Bistro was a sign things weren’t slowing down any time soon.
“I think it’s a fantastic opportunity, not only for ourselves but the businesses in general in Palm Springs,” said Lulu General Manager Gabe Terrado.

“Historically we’re always really busy here. This weekend we have a lot of fun things going on starting off today, we have a taco cart and fruit cart poolside all weekend,” said Director of Brand Marketing Chantel Pae.
Mixing things up at their pool on Sunday. Throwing their first Sunnylife Sunday’ pool party.
But it’s not just Palm Springs that’s busy. The River in Rancho Mirage is packed with people shopping and eating. One thing everyone is happy about, the weather.
“The weather, I mean I was just in LA and it was 65, 70 degrees, a little cloudy. I was driving out here and it was perfect right now,” Pae said.
With hotels booked and restaurants packed, the holiday weekend is shaping up to be pretty profitable for businesses.
