Man found dead in Twentynine Palms, homicide detectives investigating
Homicide detectives are investigating the death of a man in Twentynine Palms.
The body of a man was found Wednesday by a woman who was looking for a cat, according to a news release by the Morongo Basin Sheriff’s Station. At around 6:40 pm, deputies were called to a residence in the 71600 block of Indian Trail in Twentynine Palms. Upon arrival, the woman took deputies to the location where she found the body.
Investigators from the Sheriff’s Specialized Investigations Division-Homicide Detail are currently conducting a death investigation.
An autopsy will be conducted to determine the cause and manner of death. His identity has not been revealed at this time.
The investigation remains ongoing, the Sheriff’s Department asks that anyone with information should contact Detective Julius McChristian at (909)387-3589.
