PS Comic Xpo kicks off in Palm Springs

The PS Comic Xpo kick off in Palm Springs Saturday featuring a full slate of artists, actors and other creative types from all ends of the pop culture spectrum.

According to organizers, they expect around 3,000 attendees to show up during the two day convention. it also features the only female comic exposition owner, Meachele Campbell with an all-female staff. Campbell said she had no intention of braking the glass ceiling but hope to inspire women and young to take an interest in the male-dominated world of comics.

“So we’re hoping that young girls look at us and then go, ‘I didn’t know I could do that’,” she said. “You can do whatever you want. Set no limits. Dream big. Shoot high and don’t let fear dictate the direction of your life.”
