Riverside County gas prices drop for fifth straight day
The average price of a gallon of self-serve regular gasoline in Riverside County dropped four-tenths of a cent today to $3.58, the fifth consecutive decrease.
The average price has dropped two cents over the past five days, including six-tenths of a cent on Monday, according to figures from the AAA and Oil Price Information Service.
The average price is 1.6 cents less than one week ago and 9.5 cents lower than one month ago but 74.8 cents more than one year ago, It has risen 50.7 cents since the start of the year.
