PSUSD warns of congestion caused by Palm Springs road work

Parents of Palm Springs Unified School District are being warned about construction this back-to-school season. Desert Water Agency (DWA) announced that they will be conducting repairs on a broken pipeline on Ramon Road, which will cause considerable congestion.

The pipeline stretches for a half-mile between Calle Santa Cruz and El Cielo. The pipeline is being repaired due to several leaks along its length, according to DWA.

In a statement from DWA, parents of Palm Springs High School students are encouraged to find alternative routes to avoid traffic delays.

The construction is scheduled to take place from now until September.
