Woman arrested for alleged pepper spray attack in La Quinta

La Quinta police arrest woman accused of pepper-spraying another woman outside of a Circle K.

According to police, Abigail Sarai Perez, 21, of La Quinta was outside in the parking lot of the Circle K on Calle Tampico when she saw a woman she recognized exit the store. Police say both women “have a history of not getting along with each other.”

Perez then allegedly began screaming at the woman. Following the verbal argument, Perez allegedly pepper sprayed her. Police say Perez then followed the woman as she walked away and pepper sprayed her again.

Police arrested Perez and booked her into Indio Jail for unlawful use of pepper spray.
