COD men’s soccer nets biggest win in program history

The Roadrunners are off and running with a historic start to their season. COD started their 2018 schedule with a win over the No. 3 ranked team in the country on Tuesday afternoon.

In front of a large crowd at COD, the Roadrunners were able to pull of the upset over Cerritos College, defeating the Falcons 2-1. The team was led by La Quinta high school graduate Lucas Rosales who scored both goals for the Roadrunners.

In addition, the team also got a strong effort in net from Desert Mirage high school graduate Jesus Negrete.

According to SID Brian Sylva, this is the biggest win program history and one of the best in school history.
