Congressman Raul Ruiz live in-studio interview
Congressman Dr. Raul Ruiz joined us live in studio to speak about his reelection campaign this November.
Ruiz grew up in Coachella, where both his parents were farmworkers. After graduating from Coachella Valley High School, he attended UCLA and Harvard, where he obtained his medical degree. He was elected to the 36th District post in 2012 unseating longtime incumbent Mary Bono.
He spoke to News Channel 3’s John White about his opponent, Kimberlin Brown Pelzer, challenging him to debate yesterday on KESQ. Ruiz also talks about a number of topics including immigration, the mid-terms elections nationally, and some of his recent bills.
You can learn more about Ruiz on his website or his Facebook.
