Pizza delivery vehicle rolls over in Cathedral City
A pizza delivery vehicle rolls over after crashing into a parked vehicle in Cathedral City.
Cathedral City Police Chief Travis Walker told KESQ & CBS Local 2 crew at the scene the vehicle was traveling eastbound on 68700 block of Tachevah Drive. While driving, the driver looked down in the seat looking for something and came in contact with a parked SUV on the side of the road causing her to flip her vehicle.
The driver experienced minor pain and was not transported to the hospital.
The street was blocked off in both directions for a short time as crews worked to turn the vehicle back upright and tow it.
It is unknown if the driver was making a delivery at this time. Drugs and/or alcohol do not appear to be a factor at this time.
