Da de los Muertos celebrations reflect history and culture

The spirit of Mexico’s traditional holiday, Día de los Muertos, will come alive Sunday October 28th at the Palm Springs Art Museum. The celebration will offer family fun, performances, films, art activities and music from 10 a.m. – 4 p.m.

A second event will be held Friday, November 2nd at the Palm Springs Art Museum in Palm Desert, The Galen and Fay Sarkowsky Sculpture Garden from 4 p.m. – 9 p.m. Admission is free for both events.

The Day of the Dead event on Friday November 2nd will offer printmaking, live music, pan de muerto and musical guest performances.

Day of the Dead is a traditional Mexican holiday that celebrates life, history and culture in honoring those who have passed away.
