PSPD rescue hiker near Bob Hope estate

The Palm Springs Police Department rescue a hiker rescue near the Bob Hope estate in Palm Springs.

PSPD Sgt Mike Casavan told KESQ & CBS Local 2 another hiker called in the report of a hiker in need of assistance around 1:30 p.m. today. The hiker is believed to be a man in his 70’s.

Officers set up a command post on Southridge Drive in Palm Springs, which is nearby the multi-million dollar historic home.

According to Casavan, the hiker was brought down safely and transported to the hospital. The condition of the hiker is unknown at this time.
