Boys & Girls Club of Palm Springs celebrate opening of new gymnasium

The Boys and Girls Club of Palm Springs celebrated the opening of their brand new gymnasium today.

The facility opened its doors in 1948 and has been serving over 1,200 children annually from age seven to 17. The remodel was made possible by the block grant from the city, Bighorn, and Palm Springs Pathfinder.

“We have been here for over 70 years. We believe that a healthy body and a healthy mind makes for the development of children,” said Margaret Keung, executive director of the Boys & Girls Club of Palm Springs.

The gym is now equipped with new lighting, flooring, and paint for the community to enjoy. Click here for more information If you’d like to volunteer with the Boys and Girls Club.
