30-ft rainbow pride flag unfurled at Desert Regional Medical Center campus

The Desert Care Network officially kicked off Palm Springs Pride weekend.

On Thursday, they unfurled a 30-foot rainbow pride flag from the top of the historic El Mirador Tower on the campus of Desert Regional Medical Center.

“It is all about inclusion we are all in this together and this hospital has been an iconic piece of Palm Springs for many many years,” said Jim Kelley, chief human resources officer at Desert Regional.

DCN does this every year to mark the beginning of pride weekend. The flag unfurled today is the biggest flag in Palm Springs.
