Prescribed burn meeting for mountain communities rescheduled

UPDATE: 11/26/18 – The meeting has been rescheduled to November 29 at 6 PM.

A planned community meeting on the topic of prescribed burns during the Fall and Winter in the mountain communities has been postponed.

The event, which was set to take place at the Idyllwild Nature Center at 25225 Highway 243 in Idyllwild Tuesday, Nov 13 at 6PM, did not have a planned reschedule date until November 26.

The meeting, which would focus on prescribed burns at Pine Cove, Stone Creek, Potrero, and Thomas Mountain, was going to include presentations from United State Forest Service, State Parks, Bureau of Land Management, and Cal Fire officials.
