Two killed in Palm Springs crash, Indian Canyon open after 8-hour closure

Two people have been killed in a crash on Indian Canyon in Palm Springs.

The accident was reported at around 1:45 p.m.

Northbound and Southbound Indian Canyon Drive is currently closed between Tramway Road and Interstate 10. The roadway was closed until 9:30 p.m.

The accident occurred when a vehicle traveling northbound on Indian Canyon struck a parked vehicle. A pedestrian was near the parked vehicle at the time of the collision. Both the driver of the vehicle traveling northbound and the pedestrian near the parked vehicle were pronounced dead at the scene.

Four investigators from PSPD’s traffic division are currently looking into the incident.
