Indio Police reveal more than one suspect involved in Wednesday’s shooting
Indio Police continue to investigate the shooting of a 47-year-old man Wednesday night.
The man was shot at around 8:20 p.m. near the area of Primrose Avenue and Bamboo Street.
A news release by the Indio Police Department reveals that the man was sitting in front of a residence when he was shot by more than one suspect. Bullet holes could be seen on the side of the house.
At this time, there is no suspect description or more details currently available. The man remains hospitalized and his condition is unknown, according to IPD.
The Indio Police Department Major Crimes and Street Crimes Unit Detectives have assumed the investigation and have little information to investigate. This was the second shooting in 24 hours in Indio. Tuesday night, two men were shot near the AM/PM on Jefferson Street. IPD arrested three men this afternoon.
