2 injured in DHS crash, power restored for area SCE customers

Two people were hospitalized with non-life-threatening injuries following a two-vehicle crash at around 12:30 a.m. on Dillon Road east of Long Canyon Road in Desert Hot Springs.

The driver of the second vehicle fled the scene and is still outstanding. The crash is under investigation.

The vehicle of the two people hospitalized rolled over as a result of the crash.

689 Southern California Edison customers were without power for over 12 hours as a result of the crash, which damaged a power pole.
