Palm Desert fire contained

A car fire that broke out in Palm Desert has spread to nearby vegetation and is now threatening structures in the area.
The blaze, which was reported at 2:09 p.m., started on the 71000 block of Jaguar Way. Six fire engines are currently on scene battling the blaze.
The vegetation fire is currently affecting approximately 1/4 of an acre.
There are ‘threats to multiple structures’ according to Cal Fire.
