More Rain on the Way this Afternoon

We awoke to light rain in the Valley, but it has since moved through, leaving some rainbows in it's place. The next round of showers is pushing in for the afternoon along with very chilly conditions.

Rainfall totals were modest here, but more significant elsewhere, for full rain totals around the region, click here. We expect to add to rainfall totals in the next few hours.

And a whole bunch of snow fell around our local mountains, too!

Showers developing south and west of the Coachella Valley will move in from over the Santa Rosa mountains, then dry out and move out this evening.

The storm system is moving across California to our North so the watches and warnings are still in place for most areas until later this afternoon.

Expect cloudy skies and highs in the 50s today, with warmer weather coming for the weekend.
