Slow warming today through Saturday

Yesterday was a cold day for the region with below average temperatures. The low in the morning for Palm Springs was just 38° with an afternoon high temperature of 63°. Today, conditions will be a bit warmer with an area of high pressure moving in to replace the area of low pressure pushing east.

This ridge of high pressure will build through Friday, keeping temperatures warmer than normal in the lower 70's through Saturday.

Today, high temperatures are expected to be warmer than yesterday and right near seasonal average in the mid to upper 60's.

Through the next few days, temperatures will be in the 70's. Nice and comfortable weather for our weekend before we watch rain chances heading into next week. Precipitation can occur as early as Sunday night into Monday morning. We will closely watch these chances. Confidence for timing and rain amounts are low at this time.
