State Census Returns Hit 70 Percent; Local Numbers Not Far Behind

The U.S. Census Bureau released the latest numbers of forms returned by residents throughout the nation.

CALIFORNIA: 70% Return/73% in 2000

Riverside County: 68% Return/71% in 2000

San Bernardino County: 68% Return/72% in 2000

Palm Springs 66% Return/60% in 2000

Cathedral City 68% Return/65% in 2000

Palm Desert 66% Return/59% in 2000

Indian Wells 60% Return/49% in 2000

La Quinta 66% Return/64% in 2000

Coachella 62% Return/62% in 2000

Indio 65% Return/61% in 2000

Desert Hot Springs – 58% Return/62% in 2000
