Cathedral City Man Convicted Of Second Degree Murder
A Cathedral City man has been convicted of second-degree murder in a drunken driving crash that killed his passenger.
Jason Rutan Pappas was also found guilty of evading arrest, misdemeanor driving under the influence and driving with a blood- alcohol level greater than 0.08 percent in the June 3 death of 56-year-old Gregory Fisher of Cathedral City.
He pleaded guilty to another DUI charge back in 2007.
