Teachers, Parents, Students Rally For Better Budgets
Teachers, parents, and students from all over the Coachella Valley took turns rallying in Indio, Friday.
They all had the same message: don’t cut the budgets, and keep the good teachers.
The rallies happened at the same intersection in Indio, Highway 111 from Taqhuitz to Gulf Center Parkway, and included educators, parents, and students from the Desert Sands,Coachella Valley, Palm Springs school districts and the California State Education Association.
