Unmanned Cargo Vessel Out Of Control At Int’l Space Station

According to Russian Mission Control, a space capsule that carries food, water, and other supplies to the International Space Station has failed in a docking attempt.

Valery Lyndin, who is the spokesman for Mission Control, was not available for comment, but his secretary confirmed that the docking had failed.

It is still unclear whether another docking was attempted.

The importance of the Russian Progress capsules will increase when the U.S space shuttle program ends.
