Gunshots Lead To Three In Custody Near Desert Hot Springs
Riverside County Sheriff’s deputies said they had one person in custody who may have been involved gunshots being fired south of the Desert Hot Springs city limits on Tuesday afternoon.
A call came into the department at 3 p.m. reporting gunshots were being fired at nearby park.
Witnesses told police they saw three people run from the area. Deputies caught up with one of them near a home on Via Corto and Camino Aventura and detained him.
Deputies set up a perimeter in the neighborhood, which was near the intersection of Dillon and Palm. They other two men were apprehended a short time later.
Investigators recovered a handgun and two knives.
