Homecoming Parade Kicks Off Season of Festivities

It’s game time in Palm Springs! The 2009 CIF Championship-winning Palm Springs High School Indians will be celebrating this weekend’s Homecoming game with a parade through downtown, today.

The city invites everyone to come celebrate the parade this afternoon. It’s scheduled to begin at 3:30 p.m. at Palm Canyon Dr. from Baristo Rd. to Alejo.

The city council along with members of the Palm Springs Unified School District Board will participate in the parade, as well as the famous PSHS Marching Band “Spirit of the Sands.”

The Homecoming game will take place on Friday at 7:00 p.m. at the PSHS Stadium where in the Indians will play the Indio High School Rajahs.

The Homecoming Parade kicks off the season of festivities. Other parades include:

Greater Palm Springs Pride Parade Sunday, Nov. 7, 10:00 a.m. Parade starts at Ramon Rd. and Palm Canyon Dr. and travels northbound ending at Alejo Rd.
