Woman Treated For Injuries After Car Rollover In Thousand Palms
A woman was recovering Thursday afternoon after losing control of her car on Dillon Road in Thousand Palms, according to the Riverside County Sheriff’s Department.
The accident happened near Thousand Canyon Palms Road, near the Coachella Nature Preserve just before 10 a.m.
Police said the driver over-corrected after a turn and went over an embankment. The car rolled into the desert and hit some rocks.
The woman, whose name was not made public, was taken to Desert Regional Medical Center in Palm Springs with only minor injuries.
