2 Mobile Homes Destroyed in Thermal
A fire has destroyed 2 mobile homes in Thermal.
The blaze broke out late Saturday, just after midnight. The homes affected were on the 56,000 block of Jackson Street.
Fire officials say the flames burned through 2 abandoned mobile homes. Crews were able to contain the fire and keep it from spreading to nearby trees and bushes.
A couple of trucks also got stuck in sand while trying to assist with fighting the fire.
The cause of the fire is unknown.
