Varner Road Re-Opens To Traffic In Both Directions
The stretch of roadway that was shut down overnight because of a debris flow was re-opened around 11 a.m., according to the Cathedral City Public Works Department.
Work crews spent the morning cleaning up the 20 mudslides on Varner Road that resulted from Tuesday’s downpours.
Motorists are advised to use caution. Crews are still working on the shoulder of the road for additional work. Drivers are advised to slow down in the area.
