Police Respond To Palm Springs Bank Robbery

Palm Springs police confirm to News Channel 3 they are responding to a call of a bank robbery.

Police got the call at around 10:40 a.m. at the Guaranty Bank at 420 S. Palm Canyon Drive.

Authorities said they are looking for a man described as 62 years old, 6 ft., 2 inches tall, around 200 pounds, wearing a fedora-style hat, flesh-colored gloves, make-up on his face and a blue button-down shirt. They said he was also wearing gray pants.

They said he was carrying a black binder and a cane.

Police around the Coachella Valley have been alerted to the information through an all-points-bulletin.
