Missing Sex Offender Caught Cutting Off GPS Ankle Bracelet

San Bernardino County Sheriff’s deputies said they located a wanted parolee on-the-run who had cut off his electronic tracking device.

Deputies located William Quantrille on Tuesday in the Cajon Pass area near Highway 138 and Interstate 15.

Quantrille was a registered sex offender who was wanted for a parole violation when he cut off his GPS tacking device, deputies said.

He was taken to the West Valley Detention Center in Rancho Cicamonga and is being held without bail.
