Veterans Day Brings Memorials And Closures Throughout Valley

There are many events planned throughout the Coachella Valley for Veterans Day on Thursday, November 11.

Here are a few of them:

11am – Veterans Day Celebration, General Patton Memorial Museum 62510 Chiriaco Rd Chiriaco Summit, CA 92201

11am – SPOTLIGHT 29 Casino Offers Discounts at Cafe Capitata for Military on Veterans Day Spotlight 29 Casino Cafe Capitata 46200 Harrison Place Coachella, CA 92236

11:30am – ?Honoring Those Who Serve? Veterans Day Luncheon Doral Desert Princess Resort 67967 Vista Chino, Cathedral City, CA 92234

3:30pm – 14th Annual Veterans Day Parade Palm Canyon Drive at Ramon Road. Parade travels north, ending at Alejo Road. More than 20,000 spectators are expected to attend.

7pm – VETERANS DAY CELEBRATION CIPOLLINE OSTERIA 1260 S. Palm Canyon Dr. Palm Springs

Courts and most municipal offices in Riverside County will be closed today for the Veterans Day holiday.

Law enforcement and fire department personnel will be on duty, but non- emergency local and state agencies will not be open for business again until Friday.

Trash and recycling pickup by Burrtec and other cities in the Coachella Valley will continue as normal.

All city and county libraries will be closed.
