Twin-Engine Plane Crashes On Approach To San Bernardino Airport

A twin-engine Beechcraft Baron aircraft has crashed on approach to San Bernardino International Airport.

Federal Aviation Administration spokesman Ian Gregor says the pilot reported a problem at about 11:45 a.m. Monday and the airplane went down about a minute later about a half-mile southwest of the airport.

Gregor says the flight originated in San Luis Obispo and the aircraft was registered to a resident of the Central Coast city.

The number of people aboard is not known.
