Tip Leads Indio Police To Suspect In Friday’s Deadly Shooting
A suspect in Friday’s shooting death in an Indio apartment was locked up today, pending arraignment. . Jesse Sanchez, 27, of Indio, was arrested Saturday at his parent’s home in the 82-100 block of Bliss Street, questioned, then booked on suspicion of homicide. He could be arraigned as early as Monday.
Police are withholding the name of the dead man. It was unclear why.
The shooting occurred in the 82-100 block of Avenue 50 about 11:30 p.m. Friday, and police said a tip led to Sanchez’s arrest yesterday. Sanchez also had some unspecified warrants, police said.
