Part of Old Town La Quinta Up For Sale

Store owners in Old Town La Quinta say business is picking up.

That’s good news — as owners deal with the uncertainty of not knowing who will be managing their property in the near future.

The 21,000 square foot building in Old Town, which includes Stuft Pizza, is now bank-owned.

It changed hands from the original property managers back in August.

Management neither confirmed or denied reports the building went into foreclosure when asked by News Channel 3.

The same managers still run other buildings in Old Town.

Store owners say it doesn’t matter, as long as customers keep coming back.

“We’re sitting with some empty stores, now they’re filling up, so it’s a little better. But we still have an empty restaurant at the end. But the people are coming, the economy is a little better and I think everyone is hopeful this year,” said Boni Wall, owner of Just Boni At Home.

“This is relatively a new complex. So it’s going through it’s growing pains. So the right people are going to show up at the right place at the right time,” said Stuart Green, owner of Old Town Coffee Company.

The bank-owned building is on the market for just under $3.7 million.
