Broadband Tech Trainee, NPG Cable, Inc., Bullhead City, AZ

MAJOR DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

*Ability to work proficiently and safely at heights. Duties require he/she to use and work safely with stepladder and extension ladders. *As a representative of NPG, clean and professional attire is required. *Ability to use Signal Level Meters and VOM?s to measure and record signal quality. *Ability to learn while on the job, and follow instructions in detailed order. *Ability to fully explain all of NPG?s services to the customer and address questions. Required to fully understand pricing and packages including programming of remote controls, VCR?s, converters (Digital, HD, VOD, DVR?s and Analog), MTA?s, high speed modems, firewall modems, and televisions. *Perform service disconnects, audits, and drop burials. *Serve on-call duty when required. *Ability to measure and monitor signal leakage. *Must keep assigned vehicle well stocked, clean, maintained, and in good working order. *Report any accidents, losses, injuries, or personal property damage. *Ability to complete SDU and MDU installations, changes of service, installation of digital services; HD, VOD, DVR?s and Analog set top converters, MTA?s, and high speed data modems. Ability to install telephone outlet extensions. *Ability to work in adverse weather conditions when required. *Timely completion and submission of all paper work and reporting. *Meet minimum performance, production, and quality standards. *Perform other duties as assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS:

*Education: High School Diploma or equivalent *Able to safely lift 70 ? 80 lbs *Willingness and ability to work flexible hours as required *Desire to work in a team environment and maintain a positive attitude while contributing to growth of the organization. *Valid driver?s license and safe driving record *Work in all weather conditions *Confidentiality: All customer and employee information must be kept confidential *Must pass a Pre-Employment Drug Test and Background Check *Operate hand and power tools in a safe and precise manner
