Palm Springs Air Museum Names Dir. Of Flight Operations

Palm Springs Air Museum has a new volunteer position and it?s loads of fun ? Will Whiteside has joined the Palm Springs Air Museum as the new Volunteer Director of Flight Operations. ?As Director, his duties are to pilot some of our planes and also arrange for our planes to attend air shows,? stated museum president Dick Clark.

One of the youngest volunteers at age 39, Whiteside is an accomplished airline pilot, and currently is the corporate pilot for two Northern California families with homes here in the Valley.

He races planes for fun and loves flying and working on the planes. “Please come find me working on the airplanes as I love to dive in and get dirty. I am enthusiastic about bringing the Palm Springs Air Museum back to flying status. We are charged with operating safely as we only are the caretakers of these historic masterpieces as we share them with future generations”.
