Director of Sales, KESQ-TV, Palm Desert, CA

The ABC, Fox & CW affiliates in the Palm Springs market are looking for a Director of Sales to oversee Sales revenue. This position is located in beautiful Palm Desert, California.

Duties and Responsibilities: Specific duties include but are not limited to: managing inventory; evaluating pacing; developing sales strategies, supervising and evaluating performance of the sales management team; evaluating station revenue performance against the market; maintaining rate card; focusing on new direct business; defining commission structures; and overseeing the budget process. The Director of Sales also handles all national sales and deals with our national rep firms and agencies; inventory control and pricing; making local contacts; and approving orders for processing.

Qualifications: The successful candidate will have 5 to 10 years experience in a sales management role and a highly motivated personality with great interpersonal skills. Solid written and verbal communication skills are a must. Media Sales experience preferred. Successful candidate must pass a drug test and background check.
