Eight Taken To Hospital After DHS Accident

Eight people were injured in a two-car collision in Desert Hot Springs on Wednesday morning.

The accident happened near the intersection of Ocotillo Road and Mesqute Ave. around 8:12 a.m.

All 8 had minor to moderate injuries and were taken by ambulance either to Eisenhower Medical Center in Rancho Mirage or Desert Regional Medical Center in Palm Springs.

The circumstances of the collision were under investigation.
