Hay Spill Stops Traffic On Highway 74
A hay spill stopped traffic today on a mountain highway in Idyllwild, the California Highway Patrol reported.
A truck lost its load of 40 bales of hay on State Route 74 just east of McCall Park Road at 10:52 a.m., the CHP reported. When officers arrived, they found about 40 motorists assisting in moving the hay from the roadway.
Traffic was expected to resume around noon or shortly thereafter, a CHP officer said.
