Palm Desert Power Outage

Update: By Thursday 10:21pm, Southern California Edison says 800 residents were still without power.

They believe high winds contributed to the outage; either trees or limbs leaned on wires.

Edison says power should be back on “sometime in the evening hours.”

SCE says the outage includes residents living along, or in the vicinity of Palms to Pines, Highway 74, and Pinon Avenue.

Power first went out to 1,000 customers around 8:30pm.
