Electrical Fire Injures La Quinta Homeowner
A homeowner suffered burns after an electrical fire broke out on Tuesday morning, sending him to the hospital.
Riverside County firefighters responded to the call at 48115 Via Vallarta just before 10 a.m., where they found an electrical fire burning inside the home.
The homeowner’s injuries forced medical crews to transport him to a local hospital and then my medivac helicopter for treatement.
The home suffered only minor damage, according to firefighters.
The cause of the fire is still under investigation.
